This would be my first choice had I not found LDOE before it and liked the difficulty a little more, which it is just a hardcore-ish version of LDOE, or at least not a game that can be won with luck and without planning/strategy. This game also features a campaign of sorts that is completed via missions that require the player to run to a location, do the mission, run back and claim the reward, receive the next mission, grind to become stronger, prepare for the next mission, and rinse and repeat (I say r&r not because it’s not fun, but just as it’s how it works).

The enemies are a lot more dangerous and it is debate-able that there is more of a grind due to lower inventory space/higher variety of items needed for building and advancing.

and swaps vomiting (after eating a poisonous berry) for having to urinate. GSS: The most challenging and the most different from LDOE. Also adds “hunts” I think they’re called and some events. WS: LDOE but with cowboy guns, different heath and damage mechanics, and a slightly different armor config. LDOE: We all know this one so I’ll use it as the base template

They are similar but not the same, and I have put some time into each so I’ll tell you my findings.
