It wasn't a problem for a heavy sleeper like me, but my mother is a light sleeper and had to turn on pretty loud white noise to get to sleep.
The window mostly keeps out the noise, but the bass can still be heard/felt. There is a bar right out front of the building that plays booming music every night until late. There's a "cash only" sign on the front desk, but no verbal communication about cash-only payment was made until around 5:30 PM (17:30) the night before we left. The B&B only accepts cash, which can be a burden on the bank account when staying several nights, and wasn't communicated clearly upfront.
(–) Negatives The front desk is only open 2 PM-9 PM (14:00-21:00), but Anna is reachable by phone any other time. Because it's the pedestrian part of the Riva Waterfront, there was little to no traffic noise. We went on 2 excursions - one on land and one at sea - and both pick-up locations were an easy 5-minute walk away. There are plenty of shops, restaurants, bars, and attractions within a 5-minute walk or less from the B&B. The view from our room was incredible! (picture included) There is a breakfast option, but we always grabbed a cheaper pastry and cappuccino from one of the many bakeries nearby. The facilities were modern and well-kept and the air conditioning worked great.
The house keeper was AMAZING! She went above and beyond cleaning our room. The owner, Anna, arranged for transport to and from the airport and met us at the drop-off location. (+) Positives My mother and I enjoyed our stay at B&B Skyfall very much.
